That would be terrible, stock one is better then alot of aftermarket BOV's.

okay...bov's as well as CAI's are not good for the wrx. the bov will cause you to run rich inbetween shifts and has adverse effects on your engine

CAI's will cause the car to run lean and will effect your idle and in some cases also rob you have HP

bov's and cai's are only worth looking into if you have a FMIC and a big turbo upgrade

edit: your money can be better spent on getting some engine mgt and a down pipe and some suspension mods(where i feel the wrx is most lacking)

    Theres 2 bov's on turboxs.com "WRX/STI Hybrid Valve (WS-HYB)" or " WRX/STi Racing Bypass Valve (WS-RBV)"

Here are the details for both:

    -WRX/STI Hybrid Valve (WS-HYB) US$219.00
The new Hybrid Valve gives your WRX or STi the subtlety of a recirculating Bypass Valve, combined with the power and sound of a Blowoff Valve. We recommend upgrading the factory valve when running boost above stock levels.
    * Built to last from solid aluminium and brass
    * Computer machined so there is no boost leak
    * Out-flows factory valves for improved throttle response
    * Direct replacement for WRX & STi factory bypass valve (MY2002+)

    -WRX/STi Racing Bypass Valve (WS-RBV) US$219.00
Specifically designed for MY 2002 and up Subaru WRX and STi's, the WS-RBV requires no adapter kit to install. It is designed for people who want to run high boost levels, but still vent their BOV back to the air intake to maintain maximum driveability.

They don't call me 'ninja' for nothing.

Well, actually it is for nothing. In fact, they don't call me 'ninja' at all.

I'm going to go livejournal now.
