    Finally decided

no matter how much foul mouth i get for this, i am still goning to get the BOV. however the whole kit of a "Recirculating Bypass Valve"

    then the stp short ramp
next would be either the sti pink suspension or eibach pro kit.
    cobb rsb and fsb
    turbo timer

just want to make sure the Recirculating Bypass Valve is the accurate choice.

not used for track or racing. just for daily driving and fun.

Turbo timer is completely unnecessary in our cars...save yourself $100 and don't get one

What's the point then? The stock one is a "recirculating bpv". Save yourself some money and just get some go fast goodies. With the SPT Short Ram you'll hear the stock bpv better anyways. Couple that with a turboback exhaust and you'll have more orgasmic sound enhancements than you can handle in a drive.

Wingless alas. Too bad it took a 50 ton truck to make it happen.

    I Agree...

Buddy.. we're not trying to be a-holes. We're trying to save you lots of money, and headaches down the line for something that will be disappointing down the road.

    BOV question/advice

I'm new to subies/turbo tuning, I'm just wondering what type/brand Blow off Valve worked best for you. I actually just picked up my 04 WRX today. I'm looking at the Megan Racing BOV price wise, but I've heard good things about Greddy. Any suggestions would be awesome, also if you have advice for future mods I'm listening.

i've heard that bov's are no good on the wrx's without a lot of modding and a good engine management... not sure... i'll keep lurking this thread for concrete answers tho

Yeah I just found the BIG BOV thread...answered all my questions, thanks a lot for the info. Seems like just getting a better bypass valve would be better but that I don't need till further down the line. I love forums, best source of info in the world. Intake upgrade here I come.

The only person that I've heard to have any luck with a BOV is Nineforteener with his GFB BOV. If you want to hear the BOV then leave you stock one on and buy a SPT or COBB intake. But like others have said before, put your money else where like EM, DP, TBE, tires, or something worth the money.

Like i have said in another thread, i have the APS dual vent BOV on my car and it runs great, haven't had a problem with it unlike the problems with the forge and HKS SSQV (fireballs ) its not worth spending money on but since i just traded the HKS for it i don't mind, it is real quite though so dont' waste the money, get a short ram intake if you want to hear your BPV
