I'm new to subies/turbo tuning, I'm just wondering what type/brand Blow off Valve worked best for you. I actually just picked up my 04 WRX today. I'm looking at the Megan Racing BOV price wise, but I've heard good things about Greddy. Any suggestions would be awesome, also if you have advice for future mods I'm listening.
i've heard that bov's are no good on the wrx's without a lot of modding and a good engine management... not sure... i'll keep lurking this thread for concrete answers tho

Yeah I just found the BIG BOV thread...answered all my questions, thanks a lot for the info. Seems like just getting a better bypass valve would be better but that I don't need till further down the line. I love forums, best source of info in the world. Intake upgrade here I come.
unneccesar, and too many people say they're no good, so i wouldn't get one. buy an uppipe or downpipe and engine management. your prolly gonna get told to try searching before you post. welcome. have fun in yer rex.

The only person that I've heard to have any luck with a BOV is Nineforteener with his GFB BOV. If you want to hear the BOV then leave you stock one on and buy a SPT or COBB intake. But like others have said before, put your money else where like EM, DP, TBE, tires, or something worth the money.

Like i have said in another thread, i have the APS dual vent BOV on my car and it runs great, haven't had a problem with it unlike the problems with the forge and HKS SSQV (fireballs ) its not worth spending money on but since i just traded the HKS for it i don't mind, it is real quite though so dont' waste the money, get a short ram intake if you want to hear your BPV
