    Almost 600 pages of BOV information, and still the point is not getting across to people

    lol, most of the people probably don't care if a BOV isn't a good idea.. They will just go out and buy a CAI with the BOV despite what people have to say. Mommy and daddy probably bought their rex for them anyhow.

    the cat thing won't be a problem, im straight pipe, idle is fine iono everything you said doesnt happen to my car, all i know is pressure relief from the turbo is not a bad thing....

    talked to a friend who had a blow off valve in his EVO, i asked him if he ran rich .. he said yes and that when he lets off of teh clutch .. he flies bc of the boost in the evo stock is like 20psi.. plus BOV.. he said he finaly got his ecu tuned for it..lol.. BOV.. for the sound.. NOT WORTH IT!

    I was at work today, talking to this guy about our cars.. he asked "what have you done to your car?" and I said "Access Port, turboback exhaust, short shifter, and a boost gauge", and this guy that over heard us says "do you have a bov? You can get huge power from those" I almost crapped myself laughing in his face.

    whats the problem with a bov?

    just wondering what the big problem with bov's are with suby's?? How much damage does it do?..Does it really mess the car up? Any input would be great thanks!!

    plenty of people have them on their car with no problems and there are plenty who do have problems. I believe it makes the car run rich in between shifts. If all you want is the sound i guess you could put it on. I have never put one on my car the only way i will is if i need to. If all your lookin for is sound there are other ways like putting a dp on or a ewg sounds sick imo.
