Arrow ARC BOV Flutters at 1/2 throttle HELP!!!

Okay I got flamed on Nastyoc for posting this....they are all just too smart to answer the simple question

So I just installed my ARC BOV on my FMIC and it is doing something really strange. I have an automatic and it is blowing off at 15psi when I am half throttling the car even when I am still on the gas. You can actually hear it flutter. I added a nickle inside and made it tighter and it is still doing it every so often. It holds fine at WOT but at 1/2 throttle it flutters open about 1/3-1/4 of the time. Does anyone know if they make stronger springs or if maybe its possible I have a bad BOV or something. What sucks is my friend gave it to me from one of his left over sponsored parts from SEMA so its not like I can exchange or return it for another one to see if its just a faulty BOV. I am clueless and need help as to what it could be and I guess ARC BOV's are rare because it is impossible to find info on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem with my txs rb34 bov on my txs fmic. Mine came with numerous spacers so I just added a few to tighten spring tension and all is well now. I'm not too familiar with arc's bov but should basically be the same concept.

    Blow-off valve installation

I recently purchased a HKS Universal SSQV BOV blow-off valve. Not the kit just the blow-off valve. I had to purchase a HKS SSQV aluminum flange separately. We saw the pictures of how the blow-off valve gets installed on the bottom right-hand corner of the intercooler and i am going for the same installation. However, my next problem is no one wants to or is able to weld aluminum to aluminum. Has anyone come across this situation or have any insight as to make this installation easier/better.

Moving to Engine Performance, though it's not truly a performance mod. Good luck, fella.

    Step-by-step BOV installation:
    1. Gather up all of the pieces to the kit.
    2. Place in a box.
    3. Tape up box.
    4. Sell on ebay.

But seriously man, unless it's a recirculating BOV, it can do more harm than good to your subie.
