The GFB 50/50 hasn't given me any problems running 100% or 50/50 in the 2 years I have had it. I chose GFB simply because they were an Australian company that seems to specialize in Imprezas. They have another called the stealth and cam be fully adjustable like the WORX.

yea yea yea i know...i've told him NO about 100 times, and that hes wasting his money, but he said he at least wants to try one for a few weeks. So I guess the GFB is a good one?...for going 50/50.... is it easy to install like all other bov's, you don't have to add washers and crap do you?...or spring stiffness bull$hitt?

just to let you guys know i am no n00b just because i only have a couple of posts on this perticular site and said nothing at all about how cool the BOV sound is or neglecting the negative effects of it..believe me i know about running rich, etc and do not have intentions of putting a "rice" BOV on my new car...i just had a simple question about fitment is all and i do not need to be attacked for posing such a question.

Dude, please don't take it personally. I'm sorry if I offended you. It's just that so many first time posters ask questions about things like BOV's and CAI's and such. And even that's not a bad thing, cause how else are you going to learn if you don't ask?. I guess I need to change my attitude.. welcome to the forum, and don't be put off.

I admit that I am a n00b, so be gentle with me. I am not planning on purchasing a BOV or anything after reading these posts. I thank you for all the info that you all have posted up here. My only question is, if you were to tune the ECU after installing a BOV to compensate for it, would it still result in a performance loss? If you still do lose performance, then why are these things so popular? Yes, it does sound kick ass to have that lil wooosh sound, but is it really worth it when your opponent flys past you all because your car "sounds cool"?

No, no. Buy the one built for RHD cars.

    Beeping sound with Forge BOV

Hold the flames. i'm going with the 18g pretty soon so i went ahead and bought a forge recirc. basically same as stock but just to hold more boost.

I installed it and on vf30 my car runs perfectly fine. butt dyno tells me it's actually running better than before. The only problem is, i'm using the green spring with one washer, and whenever i let off the gas my bov goes off and gives out a beep. like an electronical beep.

this occurs EVERY time my bov goes off.

ne one else have this problem?

also for the washers should they go on the bottom of the spring or on the top?

I'll go ahead and say that you should get the BOV.

I believe that when people ask for help, and don't heed the advice b/c they don't like the answer they got, they should be left to their own devices and deal with the consequences accordingly.

Have fun with your stupid, stuttering, ricey piece of crap.
