ok well normally i would say that you should just get a greddy bov but since you are defiently young i am going to reccomend that you build your own bov all you have to do is go to the hardware store like ace or lowes or something and just buy some wood a screw driver a drill some bolts some duct tape some nuts some washers some rubber some tubes some metal some plastic some string some wires some electrical tape then you just take the wires and solder them to the wood green red red yellow like that make sure you dont mess it up or it wont work then you drill a hole in the wood for the air to go through and put tubes in it with plastic around it and some rubber so the air doesnt leak them you just put some metal over one hole and then thats where the air that blows out of the blow off valve will come out of and if you put a whistle in there it will be really cool sounding but make sure you do this mod soon because itll probably add probably like 15 or so horse power to all your wheels so youll be making like 15 more horsepower than stock wrx which i hope you have and not an sti because on an sti they already have too much horsepower

    Little Info

The Blow Off Valve, is used to relieve pressure on the intake side of the turbo. Benefits include: Longer turbo life expectancy, and quicker spool up, plus, they just sound bad-ass. I'm sure there are more reasons to get one, but I'm limited on knowledge about Turbo systems right now.

use the search button, you will soon find out why a BOV valve on a stock wrx is bad. you will also find out some arguments on why it isnt bad at all.

On a stock turbo, some atmospheric blow off valves have been known to cause problems. But there are some out there that work just as well as the stock Bypass Vavle, and cause no problems (Forge and Worx).

Here is a great thread on blow off valves: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=468038

If you have any other questions about parts, you can probably find the answers here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533787

do a search, there is a poll for this. i dunno i think a lot of people really loved the forge bovs and the hks ssqv is really popular too. the txs rfl is also very popular. seeing as how a bov really doesnt do anything but possibly disrupt your idle, the best sound would be the best valve for you (you really dont need a bov until you're running much higher boost).

Subaru sells an awesome BOV for the WRX. It cost's about 25K and comes with a car attached to it.
