    vf39. My stock bov wouldn't hold any more than 17 psi or so. It would struggle to hold 18. I modded the stocker, and now it holds allthe boost I want, but the compressor surge is kinda bad. I picked up an rfl pretty cheap, put a bunch of washers in it, and now it holds 19 psi just fine. It surges a tiny bit but it isn't bad.

    That's odd. My stocker holds perfect at 18psi with my VF34. You should just pick up another stocker for $20.

    Did you ever get your bov from them??? I have to say Worx Tunning has the worst service.

    BPV / BOV question

    BPV / BOV Question: Is the IC mounting flange the same for the WRX and STi? I tried searching with no luck.

    BOV + Not Plugging the Recirc Hose

    Hey, curious here, what would happen if you installed a 100% atmospheric BOV, but failed to plug the Recirc Hose? Would you run lean?

    yes. you'd also be sucking unfiltered air into your motor.

    and your car would run even WORSE because not only would you be losing metered air when the BOV opens, but you'd be getting EXTRA, unmetered air under vaccum.

    So if i had mine installed that way, and then i got dynoed and was running very lean, thats most likely the problem?

    probably. depends on what other mods you have. I would definately either plug the return hose or just quit screwing around with ricemods and put the stock BOV back on. You could do some serious damage by both running lean and sucking some kind of crap into your motor through that open hose.

    yeah.... i already have it back to 100% recirc. running catless up and down pipes, removed silencer w/ a K and N
