Because an FMIC and supporting mods are actually functional! Unlike the problem-causing BOV on a stock Rex...

Or you coulg just un hook the recirc part and vent to atmosphere it is pretty loud. It will mess with your maf readings but no more than an aftermarket BOV. I am running a Hydra and dont rely on maf readings for My AFR so I gave it a try and it was louder than my aftermarket BOV and it is free.

    Avo Bov

Anybody know how to adjust the AVO BOV? It sounds like its releasing pressure way too early.

It has spring inside if that means anything. It also has what looks to be an adjustment screw on the top.

Yes it is alot louder, and you can just take the screws out of the BOV that would attach the bpv to the recirc tube. Then cap the recirc hose, and there you have it a free atmoshereic BOV

I wouldn't do that. The stock BPV is normally open and actuates closed (reverse of BOVs) so if you just leave the hose off like that you're allowing unfiltered air into your motor (a very bad thing).
