    BOV adjustment?

What's up guy's? Does anybody know how to adjust a turbosmart BOV? It has a spring adjustment that you twist by hand. Anybody ever mess with one of these?

Most dealers seem to frown upon them. I'm not sure I understand the allure of something that sounds like crap, negatively affects performance, possibly affects the warranty, and costs alot.

man it makes such a cool noise, when I pull into my highschool parking lot and blow off 47 times pulling into a spot, everyone knows my car is turbo! They all come out and go "make it woosh make it woosh" when i'm starting my car.

SO I give it a few revv's, woooooooooshpppstttt and pull out of the parking lot at school.

Then I get wacked by an accord v6 and wish I would have spent my money on a downpipe instead.

I think I read somewhere that a BOV actually ENHANCES your warranty....but only if accompanied with some really cool decals.

My GFB Hybrid BOV i've had on my car for a while is acting up or is it sopmething else. Sometimes it works fine but sometimes it doesn't blow off and the car bogs for a split second. Anybody know what i'm experiencing? I'm boggled.!!

after doin a search it's probably compressor surge. Is my BOV sticking? it's weird. I can rev my engine up at idle and it will blow off just fine, i drive it for a little bit and it starts to "stick". Any remedies?

although i dont have a bov ,i think i know enough to help you out.

have you been cleaning/lubricating it regularly? if not, you should probably try that. If it is indeed sticking, then yes, you will get compressor surge, which is not good on the turbo at all.

anyone want to add/tell me im wrong, thats fine.

Also check that little hose that runs to it (might be vaccum?). Mine was pinched and it created all kinds of problems.
