It only put a dent on the underside of the hood. You really cant see it from the outside.

Running with no BOV and no Recirc??

So the seondary spring that holds the plunger on my forge BOV broke today, and my OEM recirc valve is about 5 towns over in storage. So is it safe to drive the car with the BOV permanently closed??? If not anyone local to Hampton NH have an OEM valve I can use for a couple of days??

    Thanks

Hks Bov or Worx for STi?

Which one is better to buy if i plan on keeping it stock as possible, or is it better to just leave it stock? Right now my mod is a drop in K&N filter and it did got a little bit louder after the filter is in. I can hear more air flowing and also the STOCK BOV got louder too! Is this normal? So what i'm trying to say is that I don't really care to much for the loudness of the BOV but I would like to buy the one that works better. So can you guys help me out here? Thanks much!

Prolly wouldn't hurt anything if you drove very gingerly to the storage place. Just stay off the boost.

i use the TXS RFL and its very loud but it sounds really good. the stock BOV is just fine. if you want some noise then the hks is really good. its more of a whistle sound. the worx is over priced and from what i have heard you really cant hear it at all. hope this helps

i would catch a cab!!! or a friend, cause i know when im under to 0 mark and let off i can still here my BOV. but on the other hand if you keep boost it acts like cruise control, when you let off the gas it just keeps going. get it? but i would not drive it at all.

The new Worx BOVs are louder than the older ones, and the sound can be adjusted. They still aren't RFL loud, though. They also recirculate an adjustable amount of pressure, so the car runs better. It's the most well-constructed of the BOVs for the WRX.
