Just play around with the different springs and spacers until your car runs smooth.

Thanks... so you all are saying do what i want and i should just replace the lil screw on the connecting part to the adapter part. Or should i get a new BOV? I like the sounds of all BOV's i just want one that wont mess up on me and have boost leaks? Any suggestions on that?

I have used different springs and washers with the Forge and they all seemed to keep the car running smooth. The only thing I really tuned is when it blows off. With a stiffer setting I couldn't get it to blow off by just revving in nuetral, but it still ran great. I went down to the stiffest setting while still being able to get it to blow off in nuetral. Very easy intall, get a needle nose vice grips, just trust me on this one, you will know when you need them.

if you can keep that one, or get the HKS, its also a good one, no leaks, no rough idle, it makes more of a whistling noise. but there is nothing wrong with the TXS. i say keep it and replace the screw, or make TXS replace the whole thing....... its all up to you

OBP Impreza WRX STi Stage 2 @22psi. MasterTuned on 94 octane. PIA Dyno'd at 301 AWHP & 330 AWTQ only could boost at 19psi on the dyno so not sure what it would be at 22psi.

I have the forge, and am running the middle spring. I find it to be the best IMO. its not to loud and doenst blow off everytime you tap the throttle, but goes off when it should.

play with the springs and spacers and see which you like best. IMO though, just run the middle one and you will be happy

Dunno. I have no problems w/ my bov on a 03'. Try taking the bov off and see of it does it again. Ask in the Sti Forum too. They should know.

I think you need to add a washer (or 2) to it.

Those were written for the type H BOV, but the steps apply to the RFL.
Cool as the other side of the pillow.
