use APS FMIC 50/50 here. i like it, seems to hold boost well and has a little noise to it.

    installing gfb bov..need some tips

Im tryin to install the gfb hybrid bov. and i understand how its supposed to go on. but im having a ***** of a time w/ that damn hose clamp that connects the recirculation valve....it took me awhile but i finally got it unclamped to pull the stock bov out, but now i cant get any kind of grip on it to loosen it up to put the gfb back in, and even if i did, i dont know how i'd be able to push it in there w/out the hose moving on me....anywone got any suggestions for me?

Yes, throw that piece of $^#$ away and go buy a screw-type clamp for $.50.

The GFB sounds much better than the Worx IMHO. It is a bit deeper and sometimes if it releases hard and fast enough it almost sounds like a whip cracking. It doesn't have any whistle like the HKS or anything. I would say on average it sounds like air brakes releasing on a truck.

god im an idiot i better hurry...looks like somthin fierce is blowin this way

even w/ a screw on clamp, that space is so tight...i may have to take the recirculation hose off of the intake itself...but even still, THAT hose clamp looks like its a ***** to get off too, and theres still not a lotta room to get any pliers down in there....i really dont want to take my ic off...

well its in...took some persuasion from both me, my dad, and a couple needle nose pliers on each side of the recirculation hose to pull it up onto the recirculation valve. but its on now, w/ a screw clamp too. Took it out for a little cruise, everything seems to be pretty secure.

Sounds good too!! I wish it were a little louder inside the cabin...but i realized this would be a "quieter" bov since it recirculates air too. once i have my radio on i know i wont be able to hear it, but its still gonna be plenty loud on the outside! Especially when you crank that thing up to 6-7k. When youre driven you need to at least get up about 4k to get a decent PSHH!! out of it. Everything seems to be working well. Feels like im holding boost all the way to redline still. i was kinda lookin at my factory boost gauge, i'll have to test it w/ my accessport at some point. Im happy tho! Heres a pic
