Ditto. Might want to consider going back to stock, or getting a better product such as an RFL (if you are into the noise) or a Worxtuning (for the beuaty and functionality).

The HKS SSQV was my first mod.... Best price i could find it for was 225..

    Try using the search button.

I didn't really like the 100% atmosphere BOV. The only thing cool is the sound, and it caused the turbo to lag between shifts (no recirculation) Ran really rich between shifts too. Stalled in reverse.

Stock BOV is good for upto 19 PSI or so. If you want sound get a blitz SUS intake and remove the silencer. You can hear the turbo and the BOV a lot better.

Its a pretty straight forward install. Pull the old one off and pop the new one on.

I run the turbosmart plumb back bov and I love it....def. recommend it. I had the rfl from turbo xs and I loved the sound but hated that I ran a little richer ...

    dual-port bov

whats up guys? I have a question about my bov, I have a turbosmart dual-port and when im runnin' the s#*t out of it, it sounds fine but when I drive it normal and I let off of the gas it sounds like a flutter in the intake. Can anybody tell me if this is normal since its a dual port? Any info would be appreciated.

mine does the flutter too but not in the intake. My friends 1.8t had that and someone said it was bad but that was because he had it on backwards and it was going back to the wrong place. That might be your problem or its just the atmospheric port is fluttering cuz theres not enough pressure to fully open the piston, thats what mine is i think

that "flutter" is your turbo... its not blowing at the low boost enough, and the air is reverting to the turbo... that is why the factory BPV is routed to send air to the low pressure side... before the turbo. this helps to spin the turbo and make spool for next gear faster.

this is all IF, that flutter is the same flutter i'm thinking of....

    Blitz FMIC and txs bov???

I'm having the Blitz FMIC installed and was wondering if the piping comes with a place for my txs bov? is it usually just drilled/welded on? or is there a place in the piping to direct fit it?

    thanks

Called cobb the other day about this and they told me that adding a BOV would affect the car the same as adding it with the stock setup.

    dual-port BOV

I have another question, is the noise that its making gonna hurt anything, and if so what can I do to fix it? I called the place that I got it from and they told me to keep adjusting it and it would stop doing it, but the only adjustment is the cap on it turns left or right (left-soft and right-hard) and ive beed doing that and it hasn't stopped. Anyway if you guys could help me out wit this I would really appreciate it.
