What about the Worx v1.2? Anyone use one yet or heard it in person?
I honestly think you should give the HKS SSV a shot, it seems like what you are looking for.Originally posted by VSGTS14

Here's a link to the Supersonic if you haven't heard it yet. Supersonic
Take a look at HKS, not only is it one of the best made BOV's. You can also put different inserts that give it a different sound. Personally, I love the chirp of the HKS BOV.
Just bought an '02 WRX and was curious if the MAS is located before or after the blow off valve. I'm worried about the problem of running rich. If it the bov is located after the MAS, what do i need to do to rearrange that?
Thanks
Yes, the BOV is located after the MAS or MAF. Most after market BOVs are 100% atmospheric so it will cause the rich condition during shifts. So you can get a 50/50 or 100% recirculating one that will do the job but won't sound as "cool."
Unless you're upgrading to a turbo that pushes more than 18psi an aftermarket BOV isn't necessary though.
I have an hks and I LOVE it. Best sounding bov I've heard.
happy to be of service.
All I did was remove the stock air intake and silencer, installed a BOMZ cold air intake system, and you can hear a nice whoooosh and the turbo spooling....its pretty loud actually.
I wonder how it was possible though, just by installing the CAI you can hear the stock bov, pretty loud.
I think its the best way to go to get some noise without a big cost.
Also, my exhaust is stock, I heard that if you get a performance exhaust system, then you will not hear the bov because the exhaust sound will take over!
wait so you have no mods, except for a Bomz cold air intake and thats it. Cuz the last thing you want to get is the intake which is strange but true. All I would have done is get a drop in filter and remove the intake resonator. And done other mods instead.
