    Dave,
I ran the Blitz DD for about 1,000 miles. My idle was horrible. I took it off and went with the Worxtuning set to 75% recirculate. We will have to see if it will work once the motor is reassembled and running higher PSI.

After using a Forge 100% Atmos BOV for about a year I have concluded that you do want at least some of the air to be recirculated. I noticed a few things with my Forge valve that I don't notice with my stock valve. Specifically, shifting is MUCH smoother with the stock valve. Also, picture in your head a series of S-turns, where you will be transitioning on and off of the throttle, maybe from 30% to 50% to 10% to 0% to 75% etc. In that situation, with the Forge valve, the car would hesitate pretty badly, shaking the car a bit. With the stock valve you can move the throttle around as much as you want and it remains incredibly smooth.

I also have a Perrin short ram intake. With this setup, at WOT, the stock BOV is very audible. I am selling my Forge valve and will probably get a WorxTuning valve because they have infinite adjustability between recirc and atmospheric release.

he's getting hosed by the dealer.

did he even pull the code? what's the "damage?"

you are right, those are not the right mods to start w/ but wtf is wrong w/ the car?

Sounds like BS.. my car has been running without a problem, and I have the Injen CAI, BOV, and aftermarket exhaust.

Like said above, it would make sense that he's getting codes if the TXS exhaust is in place and the cats are out. But doesn't neccesarily mean that the sensors are bad. Is just that the sensors aren't reading what they're supposed to, because the ECU assumes everything is still the same (stock).

I have the Greddy Type S and it will occationally make the car stall when I pull up to a stop sign or red light. It makes my exhaust pop and shoot flames sometimes betweens shifts too. It very seldom stalls, but it does happen. I probably have the valve set too loose or something though.

I was runing a Turbo XS type H and had some small idle problems. little sumble here and there nothing major. The thing that i didnt like the most was the twitchy shifts.

I just switched to a Turbo Smart 50/50 valve. The cool thing about it is under light shifts its 100% recirc. Then under high PSI shifts its 50 /50. By far the best quality BOV ive ever seen.

GFB 20K miles... I've noticed that I have to release the gas first wait for like a second, then press the clutch and shift, otherwise seems to spike a bit.. the idle is not dead on, but unless you listen for it, you can't really tell. the OEM tack is always dead on. The needle seems to move but is always within 1/16 of an inch...

Forge 100% on the STi for the second time.

Put it on when I bought it for about 6k miles and NO problems, then for some reason yearned for the stock again, so I put it on....Dont know if the car felt any different, besides the obvious sound....but yesterday I put it back on, guess I missed the sound.

Anyway, no problems what-so-ever with the forge. But this is on stock turbo, I dont know about its ability to hold over 20psi.
