GFB BOV Installed Last Night, first impressions

Well I had to do the poser thing and got an GFB Hybrid BOV. It took about 5 minutes to put on. I was going to run it in Hybrid mode (60/40) atmospher but I decided to see what would happen if I ran it 100% Atmospher. Well with all the postes about cars running bad I thought it would stumble/Idle bad. Started it up Idled fine. Took it out for a ride and no problems at all ran like a charm. I love it. the sound is awesome but I can see what people are saying about it get annoying. It is pretty loud. Don't really feel any improvement. But the show factor is 100% Good quality product. Also put my 18" ADR rims on the car (used to be on my Eclipse). Thought the 43 offset would not work to well but they are a perfect fit, even though I had to get another set of lugs since Subaru's thread is a little different from the standard. Enjoy the pics.

do you have to get to a certain PSI before it blows off?
say you can drive and keep boost at under 5psi, will you still get the blow off?

PS: low the rims man~! Are you going to get suspension?

    Springs

I don't like lowering cars but I have to admit this thing needs to be lowered big time. Anyone have some good ideas on what kinda springs I should put on??

    car looks good...
it doesnt rub or anything with a lot of people in the car or when turning hard? interesting...
i'd recommend looking into Eibach or Prodrive springs. they dont drop the car too much, but definitely improve its stance. they also arent too harsh on your stock struts as they were designed to work with them, even though the struts will wear out faster since the car will be lower.
the ride comfort with my Eibach springs is really similar to stock... in fact i dont know if i'd be able to tell the difference unless i rode in two cars back to back with stock suspension vs. eibach springs.

That's a big trumpet on there! It looks loud!

Springs: I have the Eibachs and the car rides great. Very subtle lowering. I highly recommend them.

Since when is a GFB BOV something for posers? You chose just about the only non-poser BOV, but you're running it in poser mode. With it set to 50/50, you won't hear anything unless you release the throttle over 5000 or 5500 rpms. If you think it may get annoying, why run it 100% atmosphere?
