Differences Between Factory STI & WRX Exhausts?

Sorry fellas if this is a repost (I'm pretty sure it's been discussed before ), but after a quick search I couldn't find the answer.

    anyhoot....

Is there any difference between a '06 factory STI exhaust and that of a WRX? My wife has a bone-stock '06 WRX and a friend of ours is selling an STI exhuast, so naturally she is thinking about maybe doing an upgrade.

    Any cons/pros??? Thanx in advance.

Do you have some sort of proof? And even if you did have these gains/loses I'm sure it would be such a mute amount that you wouldnt even notice it driving the car around.

when i installed a sti cat back on my wrx 07, the quick respone of the stock form was gone. (less back pressure) that will be a given but the car did rev smoother. didnt regret the upgrade go for it. I think she will like it is not a loud exhuast at all, u will only hear a low rumble around 500 rpm to 1500rpm after that it is stock sound from then on and the tip looks better which is another plus. oh the resonator in the mid pipe is more free flowing as well on the sti.
