On a good note.... I ABSOLUTELY notice a significant difference in pedal feel.... just on the quick 2-mile drive to work (at slow speeds).

Pedal feels much more "firm" and secure. Much like adding steel braided lines, although this is more significant of an improvement.
    It was Sarcasm

They posted the results yesterday afternoon.

5th place out of 11 in the Super AWD class.... racing against NOTHING but a bunch of STIs and EVOs.... I'm the only WRX in the entire class

Some other notable mentions that I beat (that were in other classes):

    2006 Porsche Carerra 4 (AWD)
    2001 Audi S4 (AWD)
    2003 Audi S6 (AWD)
    2002 BMW M3 (RWD 2.8L-3.5L)
    2010 Nissan 370Z (turbo RWD 3.5L-5.9L)
    1990 Chevy Corvette (super RWD)
2010 Dodge Challenger (Turbo RWD 3.5L-5.9L) <<<< that thing was SWEET
    2007 Lotus Exige (turbo RWD)

I'm pretty happy with these results..... and pretty convinced that with just a little more power... I can start winning trophies in a class WAY above my car level

20G and 850cc injectors coming soon

    Here's the results (I'm car # 914 - duh):

^^^ Yea... #55 is CRAZY fast (blue GC). I don't know him personally.... but I've heard of his car... fully prepped WRX drivetrain swap... with about 700 lbs less weight to carry. I believe (i think I heard) He's the owner of a local company "JDM Legends" that builds/restores old JDM cars.

If you notice, he was racing in the regular AWD class with all the other WRXs.... yet managed to go faster than just about everyone in the Super AWD class.... including myself - LOL

That's pretty awesome. I had a buddy who used to drag his RS with a full WRX driveline. It was just Stage 2 and he had a basic tune he did himself. He ran an 11.8. The lack of weight in GCs is their biggest advantage. A basic STI driveline swap gone Stage 2 into one would probably run easily low 11s.

On a happy note...I remembered that Englishtown Raceway has a road course that they were building. And its open! So I do have accessible road racing! Downfall is you have to take an 8 hour course to get a "license" for their track and that costs $225. Each Open Track Day is $125 or so I think their site said.

The road course is probably fun... and you might even get some track time out of it

$125 for a track day isn't bad. This particular one was only $65... but the lap battle event I ran a couple months ago was $165.

Worth every penny.... better than sex

I may do it once I get a little spare cash. I imagine it would be better than sex...especially since I'm not having any right now

Englishtown does Time Trial Days as well...I'd wait though til spring obviously. My car is still just a stock STI...wonder how I'd do...

Very valid point...I do have Potenza RE-01Rs that are really good summer tires...but they'll be done after this summer more than likely. But my biggest issue: my rear struts need to be replaced. Pretty sure they are blown as I have the infamous 05 STI rear strut clunk. I'm debating trying to spring for some coils or if I should see if Subaru will fix them under warranty (9k left on that til I hit 100k miles!)
