I swear.... that Mustang was literally.... about the slowest car on the track... no exaggeration.

    Cage and wing??

    Wing - Never. LOL

    Cage?

Maybe after the 20G, 850cc injectors, and FMIC

I've FINALLY got the car to where I can hold it on the track with the power I have...... now it's time for more power

if i can suggest if you lookin to a 20g take a look at APS turbos there expensive but there design is wow, ive heading nothing but good things, and they have turbos for DD tracking and little in between. FMIC look at injen or APS, injen great for CAI cars because the designs putts the piping down front and not into the fender. A guy on nasioc got on for sale for 600 or so shipped. APS awesome to both require really no cutting and keeps stock bumper support for what else support

^^^ Oh I'm familiar with APS turbos. I'd love to get my hands on an SR56. If I recall correctly though, they do not ship to the US anymore, and getting service from them is nearly impossible. Honestly though, I wouldn't feel comfortable using an SR56 on the stock internals... it would have to be de-tuned far from it's potential, which would be a waste.

I've been eyeballing the Blouch 20G turbos. Good service, reliable support, and a fantastic product.

In particular, this TD05-20G for faster spool up (than a TD06), with an 8cm housing for better top end.

You know.... I'm always pretty good about posting pictures of all my latest mods... except I completely forgot about the most recent..... and arguably one of the most significant.

I decided to "splurge" a little before the last race... and go ahead and do a Royal Purple oil change, instead of the traditional Mobil 1 5W30 that I've used since the car was new.

During 20-minute, balls-to-the-wall, 130mph+, 6krpm+ sessions... just about ANY oil is going to burn a little, right?

Nope.... 3 sessions..... this stuff looked and SMELLED like it had barely been touched.

Works for me.... I'm hooked... and changed forever. It hurts the wallet a little more.... but after seeing that... it's worth every penny.

EDIT: and after I posted this pic.... I realized that apparently there is a pube or something on the bottle. I'll just add the disclaimer: "Be sure to remove all pubes from your oil before adding into your car"

I'm off of the royal purple kick.. I did it for an oil change, and then I found all kinds of negative info on it in turbo subarus....

Aren't you supposed to do an oil change and brake fluid flush after every track weekend? (not sure)

    +1

That's when I went to Redline Synthetic. Now that's a good oil.

If I'm not mistaken, Subaru has a list of approved oils that can be used, and Royal Purple is not on that list...
