Kinda been holding out on this because it wasn't "official" until today. The deposit has been left, and the rest of the money has been secured. It's officially "mine" (actually, my wife's).

Car was taken in on trade for major upgrades to another SVX.... 2 owners since new. "All We'll Drive, LLC" in New Jersey (specializing only in Subaru SVXs) basically did an entire overhaul.

All new seals, timing belt, valve job, oil pump, gaskets, water pump, brakes, rotors, bearings, etc. Transmission is relatively new, and upgraded with an external filter and cooler. Body was sanded down to the bare metal, and repainted with the factory color basecoat/clearcoat.

Essentially, it's almost a brand new car.

Before you ask...... no, it does not come with the BBS wheels. I know they look hot on it, but i was able to knock the price down on the car if I took the stockers. The tires on the stockers are all-seasons, and they are new anyway. The price was already a bit more than we wanted to spend, especially considering I have to travel to New Jersey and drive it home over 2000 miles. For now, the stockers helped keep the cost low..... and I'm already in the market for an upgrade.

Purchase price - $4500.00. They have well over $10K invested in the car. Car started with a selling of $7500... but the market sucks.... good for me

I'm flying out on June 23rd (3 days after the MM Meet ) to go pick it up and drive it home from New Jersey

Does look nice with BBSs, even better if they were black! understand the cost issue though, plus you can get a set of those of ebay or your local craiglist quite cheap. Do they make a lot of upgrades for the svx? how many miles are on it?

    Only complaint is its automatic.

Congrats, that a great deal for 4500.

    They only came in automatics

Awesome find. I don't know if I could muster giving that to my wife.

So I got her home from New Jersey..... with minimal issues. Had a small A/C outage about 3 hours into day 1.... but cleared that up in 2 hours. I also lost the retainer to my power antenna.... so I had to disconnect power (so it would stop going up and down) until I can find a new one.

Otherwise.... it made the 2200 mile trip with no problems

Snapped a few pics of all 4 of the babies.... even pushed the nasty rustbucket out of the garage for a photoshoot - LOL

    Sorry..... not a pro photographer

The stockers look better than the later model BBS wheels on that IMO. Nice car, nice inside/outside combo on it too, I like maroon. Congrats.
