...... Just made a little change to my signature.....

.... to include a ground-up restored, 100% original, 1994 Subaru SVX LSi. Even better, restored by a company that specializes ONLY on the SVX

Engine done, tranny done, sanded to bare metal + BC/CC paint, fully loaded, leather moonroof....mmmmmm

Deal has been made, deposit has been left..... and plane tickets have been bought to fly out and drive it home.

On 23 June..... I'll post pics when I get it home

Naa.... the Brat "should" be done by the end of summer... so I can leave it outside and commute in the snow.

The SVX is actually for the wife to commute (who said a commuter had to be a POS?).... so we can keep the miles off the Tribeca.

Nice....I've always liked the goofy looks of the SVX.

Like someone in Subaru said "It's the car everyone likes but no one bought".

Naaa... don't really dig the Legacys.... I mean, they are cool and all..... just other models I prefer more

Cool little vid taken tonight at the new "wide-open-wednesdays at Miller Motorsports park..... the new suspension did AWESOME.

Nothing was timed unfortunately (whattaya want for $20)..... but if you count, they let the guy in front of me go 21 seconds before I did (he was a stg 2 WRX).

By the last curve, I was right on his ass

"Wide open Wednesdays"? Tell me more. (Yes, I'm on SLCSubaru.com.) Do they require anything for safety? Helmet? Harness?

Basically, it's an attempt to get new folks out to the track..... had about 50 cars show up.

Safety? Just a snell 2000 helmet.... and they rent them there... actually today, they were loaning them out free. Otherwise, nor cracked windshield, no leaky fluids, etc....

Had a bunch on newbs show up in 100% stock cars, just for some track experience..... everyone had a blast

I remember seeing those cars when I lived in CA, dont see them around much anymore. The SVX does look kinda goofy/different, but not in a bad way. Like to see how it fairs to the wrx
