Ohhhh you're going to be in handling heaven! You got the Cobb "Stage 1" suspension setup package? I hear those bars kick ass. I should have gotten both at once, instead of just the front bar to start with. Let us know how much you love it haha

^^^ I already have springs (Eibach pro-kit)... don't like the Cobb Springs... too low.

I think the stage 1 package just includes the bars.... it does not include the adjustable slider mounts.

I talked with a buddy who said the endlinks made more of a handling difference than the bars did.... so I bought both.

Cobb talked me into the adjustable mounts, because setting the swaybars on the most rigid setting can cause the factory endlinks to bend, as it puts them in a comprimising position.

So I bought all of it..... figure if I'm going to do it.... I'm going to do it right..... and I REALLY want better times the next time there is a track event

Oh, you'll definitely see better times and if nothing else you'll see yourself smile every day when you take corners

How do you like the Eibach springs by the way? I have been looking at getting them for a while now, but everyone seems to just say they're crap for the WRX. I have always known Eibach to have a solid rep for good suspension stuff, but I don't know.

I swear by them..... I don't care what anyone says.

The ride height is perfect.... and it doesn't damage the stock struts.

They aren't a "huge" handling upgrade, but they are an upgrade.

Prodrives look the same.... and handle better.... but mine are more comfortable/...... so it just depends on what you want.

Can you buy a better handling spring? Yes
Can you buy a more comfortable, performance based, daily driver spring that both looks good and doesn't harm the stock struts? No.

over 30K miles on stock struts with the pro-kit.... zero problems whatsoever.

Eibach makes Prodrives, SPT, Cobb, STI pinks, and several other brands that you wouldn't think...... and they have a lifetime warrantee.

So... I called rallysport first...... they were supposed to have them in stock.... but didn't. I'd prefer to support the local guys..... but I'd prefer to get my parts when I have the opportunity to install them. Anyway, Cobb had them.... so I went that route

Anyway.... day 1 is done..... can't go any further until the endlinks get here. According to UPS, they will arrive tomorrow.

So the swaybars are in.... but loose..... and obviously not doing anything because the car is endlink-less until tomorrow..... but made good progress.

    Cobb goodness:

Got the rear out..... look at the comparison:

    The new Cobb adjustable mounts:

and the new rear sway (dangling)

Got the front out.... another comparison pic:

And the partial install.... with the subframe still hangin on

I hate those hangers... there's only 1 way that they fit.. but four ways they can go! And the instructions didn't specify... But I love my cobb (hotchkis rebranded) bars!

I agree, Eibach really is the name behind many other companies' products, which is ironic to me when I hear people trash talk Eibach but love the Prodrives. Yea, sure the Pd's are a little better, but Eibach makes them for Prodrive! lol!
