I'm sure Oprah could make a WRX that went into space if she decided to put her money into it but its not cost effective and it'll be way more trouble than its worth. Theres easier ways to make power. At the end of the day the only real reason to do it is to say "I have a porsche engine" but if thats what you want why stop there theres other brand with more snob appeal you could do a Ferrari engine swap.

I wouldn't go that far but the subie engine is already in the car and its more than capable of making power.

That is why it is "better", but if i had the money to shove the Gt2 motor in, I would probably just buy the Gt2.

As much as I love Subaru motors, Porsche engines are plain magic. BMW, Ferrari, and Porsche make the world's best engines, IMO.

i agree. how can subaru engine be > porsche. when a porsche 911 can smoke pretty much any STI unless HIGHLY modified.. and it still would be a tie.

if it isnt the engine, what makes porsche go so fast?
