2008 Turbo Replacement

Turbo in my stock 2008 WRX just blew up. Question is should I replace it with a rebuilt or new 2008 or upgrade to the 2009 VF52 turbo which requires some additional upgrades such as oil feed lines, Fuel Pump upgrade, 650cc Fuel injectors and new electronic boost control solenoid? the added performance would be nice but also interested in long term reliability. My gut tells me that since I have to replace it, I probably should spend a little extra and do the upgrade. Any advice on what route to take would be appreciated.

While these upgrades would be wise, they aren't necessary. The injectors, fuel pump, and EBCS is shared between the 2008 and 2009 WRX. A retune is an absolute must.
