    Turbo Charger Question.

Ladies, Gentlemen, Everyone Betweeen (Title IX Friendly),

I was wondering if anybody in here knows if the Cobb Stage 3 maps for 2004 WRX's are compatible with IHI VF48 Turbo chargers? I know that it's not listed as a compatible turbo under the Notes section of any of the maps but I'm thinking that because the fit up is the same and the fact that it's a stock STI turbo just as the VF 39 Is that it might work by accident. Anyway, thanks for the help....

With a stage3 setup, your best off to have a protuned map.
A custom tune will really let you get your money's worth for you mods.
OTS maps aren't tailored to your car.
    Are you datalogging.

I wouldn't try it.. the Cobb OTS stage three map is hardly good enough for the vf39 it was intended for. It leaves a TON of power on the table.. I would expect a pro tuned stock turbo car to be faster, so the idea of upgrading the turbo just to use an OTS map doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
