    up pipe question..

I've decided to install a catless uppipe and a cat back exhaust on my otherwise stock '04 WRX. My question is, has anyone ever used the DC Sports uppipe? Opinions on it? I'm considering either running that unit or a stock STi unit..

Myself I would get a Perrin or a Cobb solid up pipe (no flex pipe)
The STI up pipe is a good choice as well.
I'm not familiar with DC sports, so I can't offer an opinion on that.
Dc dosent look bad but at $100 it might be worth it.

I know DC has been around for awhile in the tuner scene. I have quite a few friends that have used their parts on various cars and never had any issues.

I asked some friends, and that DC up pipe is a decent upgrade.
Several friends have had them for years.
There about half the cost of Perrin or Cobb.

I got my new uppipe in the mail the other day. I ended up just getting the DC pipe, but it didn't come with the studs.. does anyone know where I can get these? Will the dealer have them. I'm getting all of my gaskets from the dealer so I'll already be there. Also, I've read and heard both ways, but I shouldn't have to have my car tuned after installing this pipe should I?

I'd tune it. And I think your year requires it?
Doesn't hurt to see if the dealer would have them. I'd say they would

You don't need to tune for the up-pipe, however, you will experience a cell that needs to be corrected via the resister mod (if you don't remove it with a tune that is). Any catless quality up pipe will be better than the stock catted one. Read this thread.
