tomioka racing down pipe any good?

Ok im sorry if this is a repost I did a quick search and couldn't find anything except people selling stuff... Then again long night and I'm a bit blurrie eyed this morning so may of missed it. I have been made an offer to pick up a brand new tomioka racing catted downpipe for 271 and some change. Google told me the retail so figured its a good deal if its a good pipe. Don't want to buy something trashy and mess up my car or have to buy another brand down the road because its junk. I ask because I've never heard of them new to my wrx and have only ever heard of people talk about Cobb's and invidia. Any input appreciated

    Thanks
    Dom

I have heard of tomoika turbo's and just like anything ive heard good and bad. Idk much on the downpipes but on the turbos the reviews are mixed. You hear people saying the turbo blew in 6000 miles. Some people have 20k mile on the turbo and there still going strong. I mean its the tune that matters. If you get a downpipe a tune is a must. And given that cobb doesnt cover tomoika with an off the shelf map i would play it safe and get a pro tune. $271 is very cheap for a catted dp. Most others are closer to $400+

Probably up there with Godspeed or something like that. I'd stick to a reputable brand if you're going catted.

Thanks for the input guys and very true its all about the tune that's pretty much universal logic I just wasnt seeing past a name. After thinking about it more and its retail is 600 thinking I'll pull the trigger if I can find a tuner here in Vegas soon just moved here so don't know any shops
