    Welding cat into Invidia Downpipe

    Hey guys,

My exhaust is a little too raspy for me and want to tone it down.

Im thinking about putting a cat in to calm it down.

Im going to do a 200 Cell high flow right after the factory O2, like Cobb has done.

Has anyone else done this? And what cat do you recommend?

I was looking at a 3in magna flow 200cell High Flow.

    Thanks

Im not sure but how much would it bet for the cat and for someone to do the welding work? It may just be better to buy a catted and sell your catless

    What year is your car.

I have a 14 and want to buy the catless invidia dp and weld in a cat to prevent boost creep.

A Magnaflow 445009 would work well for this.
14 sedan Limited: AEM intake, Tomioka IC hose, Cobb AP V3, Invidia down pipe with 3" cat, custom 3" mandrel bent single exhaust, Aem air fuel gauge,Cobb knob,Perrin Pitch Stop mount, SPT front strut tower brace, K-Sport coilovers@1.5" drop.

07 Duramax LBZ- 26psi,intake, TBE, Diablosport programmer, Edge Insight with EGT, EGR block off, BD exhaust manifold, PPE fuel valve.

Trex, did you get a cat installed? What tuning and boost numbers are you running?

I just installed an Invidia cattless DP Saturday. Im running the COBB SLWG stage2 91ACN tune and am consistently seeing 18.08psi max.

I intend to install a cat this week when I get time.
