    need opinions on blow off valves

    I'm new to all this just got my first Subaru and I was wondering what is a good blow off valve to get for it?

    None. Use the stock one.

    How much boost are you running? Are you still using the stock MAF system to determine fueling?

    I don't know how much boost I'm running I don't have a boost gage yet and Ya I'm still using the stock MAF

    Take a read through this thread. Lots of info there. What year car do you have? If it is a GR then above stage 2 power levels would benefit from a higher quality by pass valve (fully recirculating, not atmospheric).

    Yep, stick with a fully recirculating valve since you are running stock MAF system.

    Any kind of atmospheric blow off valve will hurt your car. If you chose or need to replace your stock one, go with something that is fully recirculating. Forge makes a great one.

    What are your mods? The stock 05 BPV is fine as it is not the cheap plastic one found on the GR's (08+).

    You should be good for a while then

    Money would be better spent elsewhere unless the stock BPV is faulty!
