    Cobb intake cover/bag?

Was wondering if anyone uses a air filter bag/cover on their intake? Someone told me it's a good idea to get one to help with heavy rains and such. When I heard that it made me nervous like the intake can absolutely not get wet. Thanks for the inputs!

I've never had a problem with a short ram getting wet. Most CAI's can get wet pretty easily though.

I can verify all too well that your intake shouldn't get wet...and yes, even a short ram is in danger.

Also make sure you keep the tray for your undercarriage bolted up. Don't be lazy and not put it back on after an oil change or something.

If you have the airbox you should be fine, I've driven in hellacious rain storms and I also had to drive in some of the worst downpours from Hurricane Sandy and I've had zero issues. I've also accidentally plowed through some standing water at night that I didn't see and was ok. I don't recommend doing that obviously, just offering it up to help ease your mind. As long as you have it installed properly and keep your undercarriage tray on you should be fine. Just be sure to check your filter every oil change and clean it if it's needed.
