    I don't recall if the old heat shields even fit on an aftermarket UP. IMO you should just heat wrap the up-pipe. I used the DEI Titanium stuff and it's working very well.

    no but you can always heat wrap it with DEI titanium heat wrap

    If you choose to wrap the part, make sure you don't wrap the flex section...that can cause premature failure.
