    Perrin or Process West??

Got a 2012 WRX daily driver and looking to do a stage 2 tune and just purchased a Perrin top mount intercooler but see alot more pics of people having the Process West intercooler so my question is...Did I make a wrong decision with going with the Perrin? And also if I'm wanting to sell my stock intercooler to someone, how much would be a fair asking price??...nothing wrong with it and car has only 20k miles on it.

Huge mistake.. I'll take both off your hands for $100.

    Perrin has a decent TMIC.

As for the "going rate", check the classified section on here / Nasioc. I wouldn't expect to get more than $100 for it, as your customer base is basically people who are doing a part-out and they don't have their OE one anymore.

haha...Sorry Rich, that's a good one....I just paid $800 for it sooo gonna have to decline.

EJ, I haven't heard of any bad things about the Perrin one, I was just curious if Process West was the most used for a particular reason but I think I should be fine with what I got. You're probably right about trying to sell it, just thought I could get alittle cash back for all the recently bought upgrades I got.

Think the PW has a thicker core than the Perrin. Comes with an air splitter as well?

Do you need an upgraded TMIC for Stage 2, I didn't hear this. You planning building further after Stage 2 and that's why you purchased one?

I don't think it's needed but it can't hurt anything. As far as know now, I'm gonna stick to just a basic stage 2 and if I feel comfortable with that then probably just stick with that but I got it for a good price and some other people had mentioned to me that that's what they would get if they had the money and I figured whatever I can get to make the car run smoothly and help out the turbo then I would just suck it up and get it.
