    Keep telling yourself that.

The forged pistons will tell your cylinder walls otherwise.

But no one does that.. if that's your plan, then you might as well keep it stock. A 700hp Subaru isn't going to have any power just cruising around town.. it will be ****ty to drive. I mean NO power under 5500rpm, you'll get smoked by Prius on a daily basis unless you want to "get on it", and then you're back to straining every component in the drivetrain.

Also, ^this. Even just putting around town, I wouldn't expect the most expertly built race engine to last more than about 30k miles. Looser tolerances, and greater expansion rates of parts come in to play. There's a reason Subaru doesn't use forged internals from the start.

1000hp is easy. I did that on the stock clutch.

You should shoot for over 9000.

ohh hell no theres is going to be use of the hp I'm saying the way they put the perspective of me using heavy hp car is rip it down every street i see that would make switch my engine every week. what i was trying to say is I'm going be using full throttle every 1/4… taking that little cruise with excitement is where I'm trying to get at if you understand

Be sure to post a build thread, it will be very popular. Good luck and enjoy.

I'm not expecting the engine fully built that way to last even 10k… but like i mentioned before cruise thing was just an example there will be weekends where i would take it drag strip or track and let the beast out. but there's time for everything.

If you're serious about it and really going to do it, I'll certainly follow it.
