Car shut down for a second and all dash lights came on while accelerating?

I was doing a pull in my car tonight at high speeds and the car bogged down and all the dash lights came on. It didn't completely shut off it just kind of aggressively stopped accelerating. I had to reset the dash lights with my AP to get rid of them. What is a 2011 wrx governed at? I've hit the govern in many other cars before and this is what it felt like, however I never had all the dash lights come on. This concerns me a little, any experiences with this? I was traveling at about 120/125 maybe 130. I don't want to hear how unsafe or any other stuff like that, it was in a controlled, well known and empty space and I have done it many times before at upwards of 145.

Did you read the cell code before you reset the ecu?

I didn't, I panicked, as soon as I reset it I was like why didn't I read the data. It did it just once, that was it.

Your car went into "limp" mode. The question is why. Do some logs and post em up here!

Edit: Just put one and one together. I'm sure this happened as a result, somehow, of this: Just another Boost concern

Am I to assume I have a major issue?

Have you checked for any leaks in vacuum lines? Without knowing the code it threw it is hard to say, but you might give all the lines a quick look over. I was recently having my dash light up (limp mode - check engine, cruise light blinking, and traction control light on), and did some investigating. I found that a T-fitting in my vacuum line was broken and leaking. I fixed that and the car ran fine again. Just a thought. Also, do you have a stock BCS or is it aftermarket?

Stock BCS, I'll do a vac check before work. It's running smooth now after the reset. Kicking myself for not reading codes.

Might be overboosting. That's the only time mine does it. Does it when I go somewhere with less elevation
2013 WRX sedan - MODS = pretty much every bolt on besides a bigger turbo.

Talked with my local tuner and the problem most likely was over boosting. He suggested with stage 2 to, 1. get a new top mount, 2. a new turbo timer, 3. pro tune. For now just run the SLWG map and take it easy till the pro tune. With the weather being in the low teens and single digits higher than normal boost are expected. I'm also plan on throwing a up pipe on it before tune. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ price you pay to play and POWER!

If he suggested a turbo timer then you need to find a new tuner...........
