    300 whp 2014 wrx

Sorry for the noobness but I just got a 2014 base wrx and I'm wanting to get in the 300whp ballpark. Can I do this with bolt-on's and a tune? i.e. Cobb ss 3" TBE (catted), GS 2" Uppipe, Cobb SF intake, and Perrin UEL headers? Any and all advice is appreciated!

I'd venture to say that you may could do it with the TBE, intake, and a good tune... without the other components mentioned.

Down pipe, bigger injectors/fuel pump, and then get a tune. That will get you in the 300hp range. Intake is just for noise, at that power level. I would add a bigger tmic as well because after 18 psi who knows how long those end tanks on the stock inter cooler will last

Awesome, thanks 360glitch, so then what would you estimate for whp with all the aforementioned mods?

Process west seems to be the favorite around here, but pretty much any tmic that isn't super cheap. Those being Godspeed, cnt, and others that run in the 400 dollars range. A good one will run you south of a grand.

The OP was asking about 300 Wheel-HP. Not merely 300hp.

Look at my build (and some others for reference) - every dyno is different, of course, but I dyno-ed 325 hp/385tq on a very conservative, daily driven tune. I'd expect to dyno 300/350 on just about any dyno.

    Tanker's TurboSnail: I choose you!

I've had no issues with the car or the build at all (besides mistakes I made along the way) - besides having no traction in 1st - 3rd gear at the rear wheels . Also, from reference the invidia race headers are supposedly better power-makers than the perrins.

A somewhat aggressive stage 2 protune can get a 3rd gen in the 300 whp range, depending on the dyno.

Pretty sure I've seen solid 10 or more whp gains with an intake on a stage 2 car when tuned for too, so I wouldn't exactly say it's just a noise maker at that level.

I wouldn't be able to guess that one, sorry.

He likely has 300hp already so I would hope so.

Topspeed's dyno may be on the generous side, but...

There are a few issues with your post...

    1) You don't provide us information on the dyno your car will be registered on.
    2) GS doesn't sell a 2" uppipe (they have a tapering uppipe)
    3) Perrin doesn't sell a UEL exhaust manifold

Your post doesn't suggest you have a full grasp on how dynos work. I suggest you read the following thread:
