    Turbo back exhaust

Finally I joined the club and got an 04 WRX sedan with 115000.. Everything is good, and i can afford the monthly payments. In the future when i get money I have a couple things i want to do. Right now it has a COBB ram intake, tuned with a accessport so that just saved me a lot of money In any event, I'm hoping come tax time I can get an a pillar with 3 pods and a couple gauges to go with it...hoping. next will be a short throw shifter folled by an invidia G200 cat back.. At some point i want to fit a turbo back in there, but in MA emissions are some BS, and I doubt the turbo back will pass emissions even with a high flow installed... How can I check IF it will pass? and if not, can i maintain my factory cat and install a new piping other wise, or will i run into issues with this? If none of these can be done, I'll just have to settle on doing my invidia cat back. Thoughts?

Depends...From what I've heard from others, buying the catted downpipe will pass a visual inspection. But if they probe into your exhaust you're screwed lol.

You'll have to see what all they do during the inspections or find some locals and see what they get by on. Worst case scenario you have to put your stock exhaust back on for inspections. I don't deal with that stuff where I live, but i do have a boost gauge for sale right now if you're interested, PM me. I can help you with that. Welcome

I really dont want to tune it to get it inspected, to tune it back haha. every inspection station near me does random probing... itd be my luck that I get a probe.... There are a couple that bend the rules for their buddies, but i happen to not be that close with them, sadly... PM to follow...

From my understanding... I don't think you'd need to get a tune just for taking the car to inspections. Just drive it real mellow, keep it out of boost, and swap back to your fun exhaust right after.

It's not an un-common thing for guys who live in a place as strict as yours to swap exhausts out every year or so for inspections.
