    Invidia N1 Cat-Back

It's going to take some getting used to as compared to stock, for sure. Anyone also running the N1, that has had it for a while, and still enjoys it?

Yep.. N1 is obnoxious. I wouldn't be able to stand it for more than about 20 minutes.

There's a reason N1 style exhaust systems are the most common to find used...

I really like my Q300. Looks stock, full 3", and is pretty tame, compared to my previous Borla.

i have an n1 race + catless invidia DP

i've had it for about 2 years now and i've enjoyed it. i was disapointed a little because everyone said it is super loud. i find it to be a little on the quieter side. on a scale of 1-10 of loudness, i'd probably give it a 5

What have you heard that would be a 10 on your scale?

I would consider open downpipe a 10 as far as loudness on a Subie.

The N1 race (catless and no resonator) + catless downpipe is pretty much a straight pipe...just has that "muffler" on the end.

there is a legacy that's local running an open downpipe, and like robin said on a subaru scale of loudness, that is a 10.

    **Brief OT segway**

About 10 years ago, I did get to watch one. We sat on a beach across from Cape Canaveral about 3 miles across the bay. When the engines ignited, a low hum spread across the bay, gradually rising to a loud, rolling roar. The wind picked up, waves started cresting, and we could feel the rising heat as the shuttle lifted. As the point of light broke into our field of view, my spine tingled as I heard the snaps and pops of the booster engines. I watched the shuttle perform the mid-launch roll, and the contrails and smoke clouds formed a huge spiral in the sky that sparkled magnificently against the setting Florida sun. We could still clearly see the shuttle point when the radio announced the shuttle was over NYC.

It was easily the most awe-inspiring man-made event I've ever witnessed.

    **End of OT segway**
