How much abuse can she take? 13' WRX

So, I'm new to Subaru (and the forums) and I'm curious to know how hard some of you guys are on your rides? I'm sitting at 2,454 miles, completely stock mind you, and I'm still on the factory lubricants etc but I've been kinda rough since after the break in period. I haven't launched the car hard or anything like that, but I have done several pulls where I've taken the car to 6k before shifts etc. I've also done a handful of 120-140mph runs on a closed, monitored road. I know I'm gonna sound crazy but I'm just worrying too much right? I keep feeling like I'm gonna break something even before my first oil change heh.

So, what say you? I'm crazy in the head eh?

Yes. I'm going to send you out of my office with a script for Depakote and an Ativan PRN. The nurse can give you some samples to get you started.

If you're concerned about the break in fluids, go ahead and change things early. These cars are fine being run to redline, just let the engine/trans warm up before doing so and shift properly (don't slam the gears and mash the clutch). I give my tires/wheels a thorough inspection before track-days for piece of mind - having a tire blow-out at 120MPH is not on my to-do list.

FWIW, I run my car to redline at least once every single day, and I'm just passing 60k without a single engine issue. About 18k of those have been on a stage 1 tune from Eric at TP. Oil analysis results have always looked good, no codes thrown or CEL ever.

Good to know. I always make sure before I put my foot to the floor that everything is nice and warm at operating temps. I also inspect things beforehand out of habit. I'm due for the first oil change here at 3k so I'll probably just take it easy till then, even though I guess it really does not matter.

But, but doctor, I don't want samples from the mean ol' nurse!
