    help plz

    I bought a 04 wrx that needed. A engine. So i bought a ej20 engine put it in. Now that we have been hooking everything up we have ran into some problems. The people we got it from cut some of the sensor wires. So i am trying to figure out what sensor is on the back of the engine on the driver side next to the oil pan. Can some one please help me so i can drive my carr

    I don't think I've ever seen that before. What year and model did you get the engine from? Is it an EJ205, or some other variant?

    I dont know what year the engine came out of we got it from a engine seller. Its a ej20 thats all i know. And the problem is i cant find anything online about that sensor. So now i am thinking i dont have the right engine?!

    That's the engine block heater. Normally there is just a plug there where you can add the heater later if you want it. If the end is cut off, don't worry about it as long as it don't leak coolant it will be ok.

    There is another that is in the oil pan with a white cord that hangs off it. Would you know what that is

    It's right by the Oil pan off of one of the galleries... I'd guess Oil pressure or Oil temperature sensors.

    Ya its on the passengerside right in the side of the oil pan. Thats what i thought it was just making sure.
