Am I missing anything for my stage 2?

    Hello all,
I'm a new member but I've been reading posts for many months through google searches of questions I've had while trying to educate myself about tuning. Just got my 13' WRX in Feb and I love it, I had an 06' previously and won't buy anything else. I have an appt for my stage 2 upgrade in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest something I may be missing that will help maximize my gains. Currently have an SPT CBE and will be adding a K&N Typhoon intake, catted DP, Cobb Accessport, cold plugs and a 3port EBCS along with a custom tune. Any suggestions please?

There are a lot of things we can suggest, but without mentioning a budget, we can't answer you.

Those parts should be fine for a S2 tune.

Turbo inlet, MBC to run in conjunction with the EBCS, ProcessWest TMIC, equal length headers, EWG, TGV deletes, get a catless downpipe instead of catted. New injectors and fuel pump.. and either a meth kit, or tune it for e85 (or both).

All of those mods will help you maximize your gains.

not exactly a thread jack, but...

would the MBC and EBCS reduce the risk of overboosting that occurs with catless DP on the 08+s?

Boost creep and overboosting are two different things. Overboosting is from WGDC/TD tables being off; boost creep is from the wastegate not being able to divert enough gas from the turbine wheel.

You go hybrid so you have MBC response at heavy throttle, but the ability for the ECU to limit boost in part-throttle and/or limp conditions.
