Trying to stay with the off the shelf maps. Does the AP have both as an option?

No. The AP only has maps for catted downpipes.

Look into Invidia or Cobb catted DPs. The Invidia is cheaper. The Invidia is a full 3". The Cobb tapers to 2.5" at the end connecting to the midpipe. The Cobb bolts right up to the OEM exhaust with a donut gasket whereas the Invidia is a flat flange. So whatever you get make sure it bolts up to any aftermarket catback you may get down the road. For instance I had trouble mating the Cobb DP with the Invidia Q300.

I have the Invidia with an SPT catback. Some people have had issues mating it because of the different size like previously stated. Luckily I didn't have any problems. I'm very happy with my Invidia.

This is true. However, the Cat in the Invidia is towards the top of the DP, while the Cobb's is towards the bottom of the DP. This makes WBO2 fitment on the Invidia challenging. Furthermore, the location of the cat plays an important rule in flow. As a general rule of thumb, the closer to the heads the catalyst is placed, the more effective it is at removing toxins and nitrates, but the more hindrance it places on the flow of the exhaust. That being said, it's doubtful that Invidia's placement of the catalyst approx. 12" closer to the heads has a significant effect on power, but it's worth noting.

I have the spt catback, Cobb dp sounds like the way to go unless there would be less restriction with the invidia..aka more power.
