    Do I need a new heat-shield when installing downpipe?

    I have my q300 catback on atm and will be putting my invidia catless dp on next week. Do i need to get a new heat shield? if so can someone post a link?

    Need? No. You can cut up your OEM heat shield to fit.
    A popular aftermarket heatshield is the one made by Grimmspeed.

    Yes. I encourage it. Makes a huge difference when rolling around town. And in your gas mileage. I just shelled outbthe extra cash for the grimmspeed heatshield. 10 minite install max. Worth it in my opinion. Plus I can now sorta see the turbo when I popped the hood.
