Ps my vote is for some suspension/brake work as well, just a personal opinion but I enjoy improvement in those areas just as much as moar powah!

I would absolutely consider an injector upgrade at this point, though a more efficient TMIC will allow for more injector electrical headroom (car can be run leaner at WOT).

If you've not worked on the brakes and suspension at this juncture, now would be the time to do it! If you accelerate harder, you'll need to brake harder and corner harder as well!

Any shop worth a damn would send you a map so you can get there. Especially with your setup, it'd be simple.

However, in my experience, most shops charge for a base map.

If you have a tuning appointment, you need to get there. You give them a limp map, nothing more. They may charge for the base map, but that may just be to cover themselves, and would likely give you a discount (for that amount) on the tune itself. Otherwise, GFY, I'll take my car elsewhere...

Charge for a base map, then said charge is applied to the final tune. If they're charging for the map to get there, then again for the tune that's just bad practice.. I don't know any shop that would do that (but I'm sure some would).

I agree with the need for better turning and stopping power. I also feel that why piss the money away on stage 3 for minimal gains when you can just add a new turbo and injectors on top of those stage 3 mods and have a considerable jump in power.

I went from stage 2 Cobb, to stage 2 TP, to stage 3 TP on my 2013 WRX. I noticed a jump between the TP stage 2 tune and stage 2 cobb tune, and tp stage 2 to 3 of about equal proportions. I would definitely do it again, but now that I've done it, i wonder if there are other ways of getting that same power (ELH, EWG). Of course, now that I have stage 3, I think I'll probably be adding some of the other stuff anyway.

If you are going to use TP, then you need an AFR, and a way to get him video of it during logs. So far, my injector cycles are still within reason on a daily driver, but any more HP past stage 3 = new injectors for sure for me.

But, to be serious for a moment, I think you want to consider where your 'end game' is. If you plan on doing a turbo eventually, then there are things that you'd need to do anyway for that upgrade. You might as well do that now for safety and 'overdesign' of the build. For instance, now that I'm at stage 3 and comfortable there, I wish I had done injectors and other miscellaneous stuff for more overhead on the tune since I just started looking for a new turbo, ELHs and an EWG (read the post right above mine for reasons why!). And I would also plan on getting a dyno tune once you reach your 'end game'. It is worth it for both piece of mind and for some level of bragging.

In my opinion, I would recommend that you at least look at getting better brakes as part of your build. Rally sport direct has a $500 upgrade package that gives you a bit of a brake increase without going to a full-blown big brake package.

Both Agile and IAG charge for a base map AND a tune.
