Just got my Accessport flash now or wait?

I've had my 13' WRX since last wed. I have 210 miles in it. I've put a K&N filter in it. I have my Nameless axle back muffler delete ordered. Should I wait for my 1st oil change which Subaru said it was at 7,500 not 3,000 like my wife's 12' impreza sport was to reflash the ECU.

Agreed. It's not uncommon for some WRXs to experience knock after flashing a Cobb map. While small amount of knock at low load is harmless, I wouldn't want knock before my piston rings have set.

Agreed the newness has no worn off yet. The WRX feels faster than my SVT Lightning. Is the 1st oil change 3,000 or 7,500? My dealer says 7,500 Buthelezi wife's 12' impreza sport was at 3,000.

According to the manual, 7,500. As I'm sure you know, there are many schools of thought. Some say to wait until 7500, some change it really early. I'm stuck in the old school of thought where you change the oil early (my first was at 2600.)

Because he has a knn filter. Map notes specify stock air box and filter.

I don't think he's talking about a k&n cold air intake, probably just a drop in filter. As far as the first oil change, i'm still not quite there yet but my dealer told my 3750 for the first.

I know, but it states in the map notes to use stock intake and stock air filter, so that would mean no aftermarket filters, to me anyways. I'm using a stg1 93 map with apexi drop in filter on my 13 sti and the logs look fine.

Yes just a drop in filter I'll data log it if it needs a custom tune for that then Subaru really does suck at tuning. I have the 2 year maintinance service so I guess I'll look at the oil and see. But I'm old school and believe it should be changed early. If it was a lease car like my wife's I wouldn't care but I'm keeping this thing for ay least 10 years.

Change it early for peace of mind. It's worth the 30-40 bucks it will cost you to do it in your driveway.
