What engines will fit?

Hi everybody I am new to Subaru. I've always wanted on edit I am new to them. I've got this 03legacy no scoop or wing so I'm guessing its not a gt or anything. It has no engine. It had a 2.5

Does anybody know what years and model a fines will fit in this? Can I get a better engine?

All EJ motors will fit...

... Provided you also install the ECU and harnessing.

Can I put any motor from a Subaru in if I get a new Ecuador and harness? Also, what engines will fit without swapping harnesses? Or do I not have enough details?

You don't have enough details.

Basically...if you want to just put a motor in without having to do anything to the ECU or wiring harness, then you need to find out exactly what model you have, and put an engine in from the same model.
