    I would prefer a STG2 TBE and tune first.

    Gauges are functional (WBO2/Boost to monitor vehicle's health)..exhaust is just for noise...although I did the exhaust first, and still haven't installed my gauges, lol

    I just did the same thing, I got the SMY Clustermaker sitting in the house next to the empty exuast shipping boxes.

    boost guage for now. undecided on the other guage. oil press, wideband. i dont know yet

    i know the horror stories behind prosport, but am wondering if their more expensive ones (like the halo) are better

    No. If your intention is to buy Prosports, you're better off with an exhaust.

    FWIW, my ProSport Halo boost gauge is accurate (cross-checked against RR logs), and works well. We'll see how it's doing in a year, but no issues yet in the 6 months I've had it. The only complaint is the little touch controller is extremely sensitive. I would have preferred physical buttons. You only really need that for initially setting up the brightness and colors though, so most of the time it's tucked behind the gauge in the cup.

    I have AEM gauges. They work great. Defi's are probably the best though. You will have to pay for them though.

    I've had to uninstall/reinstall enough Prosport gauges being sent in for warranty work to say that you're a minority
