    That's not the issue.. built blocks just don't last that long, no matter how precise the builder was. 90k is about the max lifespan of any built block.

    Driving style weighs in to longevity as well. 3 years ago a number of us here ventured into the realm of hybrid builds...I'm starting to wonder if I'm the last one still running the engine that they had built, then.

    I still have the same case halves.. and my car has never been up to par where I could consider driving it hard.
