    Need help with fuel pump.

    so i installed a walbro 255 fuel pump on my 09 wrx. i bought the kit from import image racing but it seems like i dont need to use any of the stuff. anyways after installing the fuel pump what exactly am i suppose to do? because it never starts the first time but when i try to start the second time it will start right up. does anybody know whats the problem?

    Can you hear the pump prime every time you turn the key? I would suspect a faulty electrical connection, or leak somewhere.

    how exactly would i be able to hear the pump prime?

    Need help with fuel pump.

    It will whine in a high pitch provided the car has been off for sometime.

    If you put it in test mode, I believe that's one of the things that cycles on and off.

    Also... do you have an accessport? You can check fuel pump duty cycle with it... may show something... probably not though.

    so i went outside to check. i did hear a high pitched noise. this time it started the first time but took awhile.

    i dont have an accessport yet.
