this is a bad question. im sure i already have a answer. that said, a local parts person asked me if there was a dougnut style gasket or flat fire ring gasket on the lower up pipe connection to the engine manifold. i said 'flat'. i have a flat fire ring gasket now...and lingering thoughts. were there any 02 wrx wagon found with a doughnut style lower up pipe gasket and will my brand new grimmspeed up adapt? or is this just going to be another point added to the publisher of the parts manual not in theyre
favor, and my install will go as planned. i hope.

the lower part of the uppipe goes to the header? and i used a gasket.
That's what I thought too. But I haven't split my exhaust yet and the counter tech asked. Why would that even be in their book? The N/A Impreza? The tech at grimmspeed was much more help full even though I'm paying Bank to get the proper gaskets here by this weekend its worth it.
as youll see in the link there are 2 gaskets that go on the uppipe. one to turbo and one to the headers. Recent image by Psyk666 on Photobucket
