Newbe Question.. Does cold water hitting hot turbo hurt it?

Hey my names Ryan I'm new to the club. Just recently purchased my first Subaru 2 weeks ago its a 2010 wrx hatchback. I'm real up to date on my jeeps but a real newbe to the wrx's so I got my first question for anyone who can help me. I took my car through the automatic car wash tonight and got the underbody spray, noticed steam coming from the engine (which is normal) but does all the cold water affect the turbo from trying to cool it to fast??

As long as you're not flogging it right up until you get into the car wash, you should be fine. That said, the water shouldn't touch the turbo from the car wash.

Ok wasn't sure if the underbody spray would make it to the turbo but just wanted to be sure. Thanks for the help
